This CO2 incubator for automated system has enjoyed a great popularity since its release. With a maximum storage capacity of 120 plates, its inner rotating shelves are completely removable. Rotation of the shelves is driven by an external magnetic coupler to maintain a hermetic seal, prevent leakage and contamination.

Plate depositing and picking is handled through a lock chamber by a robot, so it doesn’t affect the inner temperature, humidity, CO2 concentration or O2 concentration.
It is equipped with dry-heat sterilization system. Its control touchscreen also displays graph of inner environment history. For integration, interface connection through RS232 or LAN is possible

Low Temperature Heat Sealer

ISTJ Heat Sealer applies highly resistant sealing to micro-plates at only 110ºC (lower temperature than conventional heat sealers).
Yet the film can be easily peeled off by hand. Integrated in a system, the ISTJ Heat Sealer can be combined with the ISTJ Auto-Peeler.

It can seal all type of plates (PCR, HTS, soft, polystyrene) from 8 to 22.5 mm thickness. No manual adjustment required; the sealer automatically assesses plate thickness and applies the right sealing pressure (300 kg to 900 kg) without causing any distortion to the plate.
Cycle
time is between 10 and 12 seconds, which makes high throughput possible.
Because sealing film deposition process is so quick, heat stress to the plate is practically non-existent.
Available as standalone, the ISTJ Heat Sealer is also very easy to integrate in an automated
system.

「Power Sealer

The Power Sealer is a Non-heating Sealer highly efficient.

During sealing process, one corner of the film is turned up to ease the peeling.

The Sealer automatically assesses plate thickness and applies the right sealing pressure. Sealing of mix-plates is possible.

Twist Decapper

The Twist Decapper can cap or uncap 96 tubes rack simultaneously.

It can also be used with 48 tubes type rack.

It has been designed to be used with different height of tubes.

Parameters can be modified to process mixed types of racks successively.

The twist Decapper is equipped with a Cap detection system to avoid crashes in the process.

Twist Incubator

This shaker maintains SBS microplate at set temperature from +4ºC to 75ºC.
Integrated
on the pipetting deck, it is the ideal solution for temperature regulation of reagent and cells.
Dimensions
are the same as the Biomek ALPs positioner, so it can be easily integrated on Biomek system.

Using a
Peltier thermoelectric element, temperature is controlled with very high accuracy.

P3 Plate Positioner

P3 Plate Positioner is a JIG/Frame used to fix 384 PCR plates in position.

Transfer Robot

The Transfer Robot conveys plates from one device to another.

ðPaddle type dual arm transfer (Patented in Japan and in USA) to handle simultaneously 2 plates or swap position between 2 plates.
ðSpatula shape of the paddle arm prevents plate from falling.
ðPlate presence sensors & Bar-code Scanner at the tip of the arm.

“Plate Handler” is a gripper type transfer-harm. It is used for devices which do not allow transfer directly from the Transfer Robot.

“High Speed” Plate Slider

This plate slider is for high-speed and smooth transfer from device to device.

Spinner

The ISTJ Spinner can centrifuge up to 4 SBS plates (thickness < 55 mm) at the same time.

Maximum centrifugal force is 1,000 G.

Imbalance: ISTJ Spinner is equipped with imbalance management system. This system allows a maximum imbalance of 100 g. It enables to centrifuge only one shallow well plate at a time with controlled spinning down.

If imbalance rises over 100 g, the spinner will safely interrupt the process.

The ISTJ Spinner can be used as pre-process before plate uncapping, peeling or culture medium replacement.
